End of the Year Ramblings

Where DID the year go? A lot of things happened around here, which left me unable to update on a regular regular schedule (I know.... we're not all that surprised right?).

I ended up working on a very large project throughout the year, and that finished up JUST before the Christmas Holiday, leaving me little/no time near the end. However, that project is done, and I'll keep you all posted when I have more information along those lines. :)

I did a little bit of drawing here and there in between, but not as much as I'd have liked.

A drawing suggestion from the other week!

I did get myself some nice brushes for manga studio, and I am certainly starting to play around in that program. Why, you ask? Well, I'm actually planning on starting up a new comic (not sky's end) come February, and I'm going to need a way to work on it that won't kill my hand.

Don't get me wrong, I love traditional media, but doing it constantly for hours on end will actually destroy my arm faster - and using the large stylus on the tablet is actually much better for my grip in the long run. If only I could get over that feeling of drawing on an ice slick. I'm working on it though!
